Elev8 Automotive is a premium PPF, vinyl wrap, ceramic coating and detailing studio in Randburg, built on craftsmanship that protects and elevates every vehicle that comes through our doors.
About the role
We're growing our install team and looking for a meticulous, hands-on Vinyl Applicator / Vehicle Wrapper who takes pride in flawless work.
This is a temporary role with 3 openings, covering daily-driver, enthusiast, and dealership vehicles, from full color-change wraps to accent panels and graphics.
What you'll do
- Apply cast and calendared vinyl wraps to full vehicles, panels, and accent areas
- Stretch, heat-form, and wrap film cleanly around curves, mirrors, and door jambs
- Use knifeless tape, squeegees, and heat guns to achieve seamless, bubble-free finishes
- Trim and finish edges to a clean, factory-look standard
- Inspect completed wraps under proper lighting to catch and correct any imperfections
- Keep the install bay, tools, and vinyl stock organized and ready for the next job
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven, hands-on experience in vinyl application (references required)
- Deep understanding of different vinyl properties, stretching techniques, and installation tools (heat guns, squeegees, knifeless tape)
- Punctual with strong problem-solving skills on-site
- A firm commitment to zero-bubble, zero-crease standards
- Willing to work occasional overtime or weekends, depending on project deadlines
Nice to have
- Certification from a recognized vinyl wrap or film brand
- Experience with paint protection film (PPF)
- A portfolio of completed wrap projects
